YouTube Tracker for Notion ("the Service"), operated by YouTube Tracker ("we", "us", or "our"), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account Information
When you create an account, we collect:
- Email address — Used for authentication, account recovery, and service communications
- Password — Securely hashed and stored; we never store or have access to your plain-text password
2.2 API Keys and Tokens
To use the Service, you provide:
- YouTube Data API key — Used to fetch public channel and video statistics on your behalf
- Notion integration token — Used to create and update databases in your Notion workspace
These keys are stored securely in our database and are used solely to provide the Service. They are never shared with third parties.
2.3 YouTube Channel Data
We collect and store publicly available YouTube data for the channels you track, including:
- Channel names, URLs, and thumbnails
- Subscriber counts, view counts, and video counts
- Video titles, view counts, like counts, and upload dates
- Daily growth metrics calculated from the above data
This data is publicly accessible through the YouTube Data API and does not include any private or personal information about YouTube channel owners.
2.4 Payment Information
Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers, bank account details, or other sensitive payment information on our servers. We store only your Stripe customer ID to manage your subscription.
2.5 Usage Data
We automatically collect:
- Sync job logs (timestamps, success/failure status, channels synced)
- Page views and basic analytics via Vercel Analytics

We use the collected information to:
- Provide the Service — Fetch YouTube data, sync to Notion, and display analytics
- Manage your account — Authentication, subscription management, and account recovery
- Process payments — Manage subscriptions and billing through Stripe
- Send service communications — Account confirmations, welcome emails, and important updates
- Improve the Service — Analyze usage patterns to improve features and fix issues
- Ensure security — Detect and prevent unauthorized access or abuse
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Our Service uses YouTube API Services. By using our Service, you are also agreeing to the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.
We only access publicly available data through the YouTube Data API using API keys that you provide. We do not access your personal YouTube account, private videos, or any data requiring OAuth authentication.
You can revoke our access to YouTube API data at any time by removing your YouTube API key from your account settings. You can also review your Google security settings at Google Security Settings.

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. These cookies are strictly necessary for the Service to function and cannot be disabled. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.
- Authentication cookies — Maintain your login session (managed by Supabase)
- Analytics — Vercel Analytics collects anonymous, aggregated page view data
7. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL database) with the following security measures:
- Row Level Security (RLS) policies ensuring users can only access their own data
- Encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data in transit
- Secure password hashing (handled by Supabase Auth)
- API keys stored in encrypted database fields
- Webhook signature verification for Stripe events
While we implement industry-standard security measures, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
8. Data Retention
We retain your data as follows:
- Account data — Retained as long as your account is active
- Channel tracking data — Retained based on your subscription tier (7 days for Free, unlimited for paid plans)
- Sync logs — Retained for 90 days for troubleshooting purposes
- Payment records — Retained as required by law and Stripe's policies
Upon account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
9. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction — Request correction of inaccurate personal data
- Deletion — Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Export — Download your tracking data in CSV format through the Service
- Revoke API access — Remove your API keys at any time through Settings

10. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 18, we will delete it promptly.
